What does a Gardener do to survive the winter?

by Phil Voice

Most of us believe that someone who works in the Landscaping or Gardening profession has got an ideal job.  Long summer days, listening and seeing the wildlife, and spending lots of time in the open air.  As anyone working in this industry can tell you, reality is very different, and can provide great challenges.

It is a very competitive market, and people who are wanting the services of these professionals, want them to do the job for a minimum amount of money and usually because they haven’t the time to do the job themselves.  The challenges are even more acute in the Winter months so these professionals have to do enough in the summer months to save to get them through the winter months when work is sparse.
